Jan Urbas

Jan Urbas is a Slovenian center on Malmo.

Urbas began his career in the Slovenian professional leagues in 2005, but joined Malmo’s junior team the next season. He scored 15 goals and 32 points in his first season in the SuperElit league, and split the 2008-09 season between the Redhawks’ junior and senior club. In 2009-10, he played 40 games in the Allsvenskan, finishing the season with 17 goals and 26 points.

Urbas has played for Slovenia’s junior national team for the last three years, at the 2nd level World Juniors.
