Daniel Casselstahl

Daniel Casselstahl is a Swedish defenseman on Malmo.

Casselstahl is one of the oldest members of the Redhawks, having played professional hockey since 1991, when he played with Gavle. He played 2 years with Brynas in the Elitserien before returning to Division 1 with Timra in 1996. He helped the club earn a promotion to the Allsvenskan in 1999, and recorded 23 points in '99-00, helping the club jump right to the Elitserien in 2000. He played 3 more years with Timra before returning to Brynas in 2003. He played four years with Brynas before joining Malmo in 2007. He recorded his best statistical season in nearly 10 seasons in 2008-09, scoring 4 goals and 11 points.
