Jonnie Karlsson

Jonnie Karlsson is a Swedish defenseman on Vasteras IK.

Karlsson began his career with Vasteras in 1999, but played only one season with the club, recording 8 points and 98 penalty minutes in 28 games in the SuperElit, while appearing in 17 games for the senior team. He spent the next four seasons bouncing around the league, playing with Malmo, Nykoping and Tegs, before landing with Bjorkloven in the Allsvenskan. In 2006-07, he set a career high with 19 points. He re-joined his original team, Vasteras, in 2009, recording 44 penalty minutes and 5 points in 44 games.
