Ilka Pikkarainen
Ilka Pikkarainen is a Finnish right winger on the New Jersey Devils.
Pikkarainen was drafted by the Devils in 2002, after scoring 18 points and recording 111 penalty minutes in his second season with the Finnish club HIFK. He spent another season in the SM-liiga before coming to the AHL in 2003. He returned to Finland in 2006, where he played another three years before coming back to North America. In 2008-09, he led HIFK with 24 goals and 149 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut in October of 2009 after making the Devils’ starting roster for the 2009-10 season.
