Trent Whitfield

Trent Whitfield is a Canadian center on the Boston Bruins.

Whitfield was drafted in 1996 by the Bruins, but played another 4 seasons in the minors before coming to the NHL. By then, his rights had been traded to the Washington Capitals, where he played parts of three seasons before being traded to the New York Rangers. He played only one game with the Rangers before being traded back to Washington in 2002. In 2005, he signed with St. Louis, where he played 33 games over the course of the past four seasons. In 2009, he signed with the Bruins.
