Per Ledin
Per Ledin is a Swedish winger on HV71.
Ledin has played professional hockey since 1998, when he began playing in the Allsvenskan with IF Bjorkloven. The team was promoted to the Elitserien for one season in 1998-99, where Ledin scored 10 points. In 2000, Ledin signed with Lulea, after playing half a season in the ECHL. In 2003, he began to make a name for himself as one of the league’s more physical players, recording 112 penalty minutes. In 2004-05, he scored a career high 16 goals and 36 points, which earned him the attention of Farjestads BK, with whom he signed in 2005. While with Farjestads, he was part of the Bruise Brothers tandem with Emil Kaberg, recording 171 penalty minutes and 47 points during his tenure with the team. In 2007, he signed with HV71, where he scored 33 points and recorded 137 penalty minutes. He came to North America in 2008, at the age of 30, and was called up to Colorado for 3 games at the end of the season. He returned to Sweden afterwards, and signed with HV71. Ledin has won the league championship twice, with Farjestads in 2006 and HV71 in 2008.
Ledin won a gold medal with the Swedish inline hockey team in 2007.
