David Rundblad

David Rundblad is a Swedish defenseman on Skelleftea AIK.

Rundblad was drafted by the Blues 17th overall in 2009. He currently plays for Skelleftea of the Elitserien, where he has become regarded as one of the top prospects in Sweden. In 2008-09, he played 45 games, recording 10 points, helping Skelleftea reach the Elitserien semi-finals for the first time in 28 years. Rundblad is known for his offensive skillset and his ability to move the puck well from his own end. Scouts do hope that he can develop his defensive game further, so that he is not so much of a liability in his own end.
