Maxim Mayorov
Maxim Mayorov is a Russian winger on the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Mayorov was drafted by the Blue Jackets in 2007, after playing in Russian junior leagues. He elected to spend another season in Russia, playing with Ak Bars Kazan. In 2008, he joined the Syracuse Crunch in the AHL, and earned his first NHL callup in 2009. He played in only 3 games, recording a single shot on goal. Mayorov was among some of the top European talents, according to his pre-draft scouting reports, and he is regarded as one of the Blue Jackets' top prospects. He played 4 games the next year, but has still yet to score a single NHL point.
