Alexandre Picard

Alexandre Picard is a Canadian left winger in the Phoenix Coyotes' organization.

Picard was drafted 8th overall by the Blue Jackets in 2004. He spent another season in the QMJHL before jumping to the AHL in 2005. He made his NHL debut in 2005, and split time between the Blue Jackets and the AHL over the next four seasons. He played 15 games with the Blue Jackets in 2008-09, recording one point and 26 penalty minutes. He played just 9 games the next year, and was picked up by the Phoenix Coyotes during the 2010 offseason. He should get a chance to make the Coyotes' roster at the 2010 training camp.
