Matt Pettinger is a Canadian winger on the Vancouver Canucks.

Pettinger was drafted by Washington in 2000, after playing college hockey at the University of Denver. He joined the Capitals for 10 games in 2000-01, but did not earn a regular spot on the team until 2003. In 2005-06, he set career highs with 20 goals and 38 points. He was traded to Vancouver in 2008, but played in only 20 games. He was picked up by Tampa Bay at the start of the 2008-09 season, and scored 15 points in 59 games with the club. He was signed by Vancouver for 2009-10, but played just 9 games with the Canucks. He'll attempt to make the permanent roster again in 2010-11.

Pettinger played for Team Canada at 3 international competitions, winning a silver medal at the 1999 World Juniors and a bronze at the 2000 World Juniors.
