Petteri Nokelainen is a Finnish center on the Phoenix Coyotes.

Nokelainen was drafted by the New York Islanders 16th overall in 2004, and came to the club in 2005, playing in only 12 games before losing most of the season to a serious knee injury. He returned for three more games, only to have his knee flare up again. He had surgery on his knee and was traded to Boston in 2007. Nokelainen had somewhat of a disappointing season in 2008-09, and was traded to Anaheim before the trade deadline in 2009. With Anaheim, Nokelainen was able to jumpstart his offensive production, and helped the Ducks climb into the last playoff spot in the Western Conference. He was having a pretty decent season in 2009-10, scoring 11 points in his first 50 games before he was traded to Phoenix at the 2010 trade deadline. He scored just 1 goal and 2 points over the rest of the season with the Coyotes.
