Blair Betts

Blair Betts is a Canadian center on the Philadelphia Flyers.

Betts was drafted by the Calgary Flames in 1998, and broke into the NHL with 6 games in the ’01-02 season. Betts never played much in Calgary, and came back from the NHL lockout in 2005 with the New York Rangers. There, he developed into one of the top penalty killers in the league, and was a key role player for the club. Betts was never a high scorer, scoring a career high 13 points in 2006-07, and recorded 10 points in 81 games in the 2008-09 season. He was signed by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2009 offseason.
