Carlo Colaiacovo

Carlo Colaiacovo is a Canadian defenseman on the St. Louis Blues.

Colaiacovo was drafted with the Leafs’ first pick in the 2001 draft. He joined the team in 2002, but has been hampered by injuries throughout his career. He appeared in only 111 games for the Leafs over the course of 6 seasons, as he was injured or in the minors rehabbing for a large portion of his career. In 2008, he was traded to St. Louis ten games into the season, and scored a career high 29 points in 63 games with the Blues. With the Blues, Colaiacovo continues to flourish offensively, as he scored 8 points in his first 13 games of 2009.
