Wade Belak is a Canadian defenseman on the Nashville Predators.
Belak was drafted in the 1st round of the 1994 draft by the Quebec Nordiques. He made his NHL debut with Colorado in 1996. He saw limited playing time with the Avalanche, before being traded to Calgary in 1998. He still didn’t get much ice time until being dealt to Toronto in 2001. He has had the best seasons of his career as an NHL enforcer with the Leafs, playing in at least 30-70 games every season. He was traded to Florida near the end of the 2007-08 season. Belak played only 15 games with Florida before being traded to Nashville, where he played 38 more games in the 2008-09 season, scoring only two points. In 495 NHL games, Belak has only 31 points, but has 1187 penalty minutes.

Hahaha that just made me rlaely rlaely happy - I've always liked Belak for some reason, despite his role as your typical team goon. He's always so personable and does stupid things like this. I mean hey, he's having a good time out there being silly and beating people up.

Rest in peace brother! you are from Saskatoon as am i and you started your career off with the team that would eventually become my favorite team. Nordiques/Avalanche. Rest well.
