Paul Gaustad
Paul Gaustad is an American center on the Buffalo Sabres.
Gaustad was drafted by Buffalo in 2000, after playing in the WHL. Gaustad had established himself there as an enforcer who could also handle himself in the offensive zone, scoring 80 points and recording 202 penalty minutes in his last season with Portland. In 2005, he broke in to the league with the Sabres, and became a fan favorite with his gritty play and team mentality. In ’07-08, he bounced back from a near career-ending injury to score 36 points to go with 85 penalty minutes.
