Jim Slater

Jim Slater is an American center on the Atlanta Thrashers.

Slater was drafted by the Thrashers, 30th overall, in 2002. He then played college hockey at Michigan State before joining Atlanta in 2005. He scored 20 points in his rookie season, and currently has 57 points and 155 penalty minutes in 236 games with the Thrashers.

Slater played for Team USA at the 2002 World Junior Championships and the 2006 World Championships.
