Daniel Winnik

Daniel Winnik is a Canadian center on the Colorado Avalanche.

Winnik was drafted by Phoenix in 2004, after playing his college hockey at the University of New Hampshire. He joined the Coyotes in 2007, scoring 11 goals and 26 points in his rookie season. He was unable to to repeat his success with slightly diminished ice time over the next two seasons and was traded to Colorado at the trade deadline. He did not appear in any games for the Avalanche in 2010, but will compete for a roster spot at the 2010 training camp.
