Kevin Porter

Kevin Porter is an American center on the Colorado Avalanche.

Porter was drafted by Phoenix in 2004, and then played his college hockey at the University of Michigan. He won the Hobey Baker Award as the best player in the NCAA in 2007-08. He made the Coyotes roster to open the 2008-09 season, recording an assist in his first NHL game. He had 10 points in 38 games for Phoenix before being traded to Colorado in 2009. He'll compete for a roster spot on the Avs in 2010.
