Benoit Pouliot is a Canadian winger on the Montreal Canadiens.

Pouliot was drafted 4th overall by Minnesota in 2005, after playing with Sudbury in the OHL. He made his NHL debut in 2006-07, but played only 14 NHL games over the next two seasons, scoring 2 goals and 3 points. He scored 5 goals and 11 points in 37 games during 2008-09, and was off to a slow start in 2009 when he was traded to Montreal for Guy Latendresse. In 39 games with the Canadiens, he scored 15 goals and 24 points, and played a key role on their surprising run to the Eastern Conference Finals. While playing in the OHL and CHL, Pouliot won rookie of the year in both leagues.
