John Erskine
CanadaJohn Erskine is a Canadian defenseman on the Washington Capitals.
Erskine was drafted in 1998 by the Dallas Stars. He split time between Dallas and their AHL affiliates between 2000 and 2006, before being traded to the New York Islanders, where he finished the 2005-06 season. He was signed by Washington in the following offseason, and played 51 games in the 2007-08 season, finishing with 9 points and 96 penalty minutes.
