Dominic Moore
Dominic Moore is a Canadian center on the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Moore played his college hockey at Harvard University with his two brothers. Moore was drafted by the New York Rangers in 2000, and debuted in 2003, recording three assists in his first NHL game. He was dealt to Pittsburgh in 2006, where he spent nearly a full season before being traded to Minnesota at the trade deadline. He was claimed off waivers by Toronto in 2008. In the 2008-09 season, Moore had a breakout season, scoring 12 goals and 39 points for the Maple Leafs before being traded to Buffalo at the trade deadline. Moore appeared in 18 games for Buffalo, but was not re-signed by the Sabres. During the 2009 offseason, he was signed by the Panthers. He scored 8 goals and 17 points with the Panthers before being traded to Montreal at the 2010 trade deadline. He fit in perfectly as a checking center with the Habs, and helped them reach the Eastern Conference Finals. He signed with Tampa Bay as a UFA during the 2010 offseason.
