Dmitri Pestunov is a professional ice hockey player who was born on January 22, 1985 in UST-Kamenogorsk, Kazakh SSr. Pestunov is also best known for being Russian-Kazakh in descent, and is a center for OHK Dynamo, a club that is a part of Kontinental Hockey League.
Pestunov started his career back in his hometown when he was tapped to join the junior department of HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk. He spent a good five years with the said club, honing his skills and playing for the senior team. After his five years were up, Pestunov then transferred to HK Spartak Moscow, but stayed with the club for just a year.
