Leoš Čermák
Leoš Čermák is a professional ice hockey player who was born on March 13, 1978 in Trebic, Czechoslovakia. Čermák is best known for being a right wing player of HC Kometa Brno, a team in the Czech Extraliga. Čermák, however, has been a player of Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod since 2010, prior to transferring to Kometa Brno.
Čermák’s career as an ice hockey player started when he was signed up to play with one of the junior teams in his hometown. He signed up with SK Slavia Horacka Trebic, until he caught the attention of other clubs, and was subsequently signed by his next professional club, HC Slavia Prague.
Over the years, Čermák has been playing with a number of major clubs such as HC Sibir Novosibirsk, Bili Tygri, Liberec, Salavat Ufa Julajew, and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. So far, the longest that he has been with a single club without transferring is with Bili Tygri Liberec, where he stayed for 3 years.
Aside from his professional career, Čermák is also an international player for the Czech national team. Čermák was able to play at events like the Euro Hockey Tour, but not at a world championship.
