Alexander Rafailovich Boikov is a professional Russian ice hockey player who is best known for being a left wing player of the Severstal Cherepovets of the Kontinentalen Hockey-Liga or KHL. Boikov was born on February 3, 1975 in Russian SFSR.

Boikov started his professional career when he was signed by Krylya Sovetov Moscow in 1991. He was a member of the said club from 1991 to 1999 during the time when the Russian Super League was still active. At the time when KHL was created, Boikov transferred to HC CSKA Moscow, a club in the nearby city. He stayed with the team for 2 years until he was signed to HC Lada Togliatti. His time with the club was quite successful until he went onto the playoffs and reached the final round but lost to HC Dynamo Moscow.

By 2006, Boikov was already playing with Atlant Mytishchi, and stayed with the club for 3 years. It was in 2009 that Boikov then transferred to HC Sibir Novosibirsk. He was the team’s captain for two successful years before he was offered a contract by the Severstal Cherepovets. He took the contract and is now a part of the said club.
