Vladimir Anatoljewitsch Vorobiev is a professional ice hockey player who was born on November 2, 1972 in Cherepovets, Russian SFSR. Vorobiev is best known for being one of the right wing players of the Severstal Cherepovets, a major club in the Kontinentalen Hockey-Liga.

Vorobiev’s professional career started when he was a youth player of Metallurg Cherepovets. However, he was promoted to play with the first team by the 1992-1993 season, which marked his entry to the Russian Super League. During the said season, Vorobiev was also drafted in the said year’s NHL Entry Draft in the tenth round by the New York Ranges. Although selected, Vorobiev was not able to play with the club as he was signed by HC Dynamo Moscow and asked to play for their first team. He stayed with HC Dynamo for three years before he transferred to Hartford Wolf Pack for another three years. The Wolf Pack was a club in the American Hockey League, and after his three years with the club, he signed with Hamilton Bulldogs where he stayed for a year.

In 1999 Vorobiev went back to the Severstal Cherepovets for a year, before transferring back to HC Dynamo for another three years.
