Alexei Anatoljewitsch Medwedew (otherwise known as Alexei Medvedev), is a professional ice hockey player who was born on January 13, 1982 in Penza, Russian SFSR. Medvedev is one of the known strikers of Metallurg Nowokusnezk, an established club that is known for being a part of the Konteinentalen Hockey-Liga (Continental Hockey League).
Medvedev started his colorful career as a professional ice hockey player when he was signed to play for the second team called Diselist Pensa. He was with the team until 2000, before he made his transfer to Severstal Cherepovets during the said year. However, his time with the said team was just a short one as Medvedev transferred to HK Lipetsk in 2001.
Medvedev then stayed with HK Lipetsk for another year before he transferred to Gasowik Tyumen until 2003 before transferring to Mettalurg Novokuznetsk. Medvedev then stayed with the said team for a good four years before he made his transfer to Salavat Ufa Julajew in 2007, then to OHK Dynamo in 2010.
