Mike Ribeiro
Mike Ribeiro is a Canadian center on the Dallas Stars.
Ribeiro was drafted in 1998 by the Montreal Canadiens. After splitting a few seasons with the Canadiens and the Quebec Citadelles of the AHL, Ribeiro finally broke out in 2003-04, scoring 20 goals and 65 points in his first full season. After the lockout, he continued to impress, but was traded to Dallas for the 2006-07 season. He led the Stars with 59 points in his first season with them. In 2007-08, Ribeiro set career highs with 27 goals and 83 points, leading the team in scoring in the playoffs as well as in the regular season.
The Stars have clearly recognized the talent Ribeiro possesses, and locked him up with a five year deal in 2008.
