Igor Grigorenko
Professional ice hockey player Igor Grigorenko was born on April 9, 1983 in Togliatti, Russia. The Detroit Red Wings selected him at round two at #62 overall draft pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in a number of teams among them Lada Togliatti, Salavat Yulaev Ufa, and the Russia U20. He has also played with Severstal Cherepovets and the Grand Rapids Griffins. His most recent team was the Russia EHT where he has played three games. He has also played 37 games in the playoffs and scored a total of 14 goal points, as well as 11 assist points.
The Russian player was given the U20 WJC Best Forward, U20 WJC Gold Medal, and the U20 WJC Most Goals in the 2002-2003 seasons. He was part of the KHL All Star Team in 2010-2011 and the KHL Gagarin Cup Champion in the same season.
