Russian professional ice hockey player Igor Gorokhov currently plays for Amur Khabarovsk of the Kontinental Hockey League. The team goes by the nickname Tigers and has its home base at the platinum Arena which has a capacity of 7,100.

Gorokhov was born on November 28, 1990 in Novosibirks, Russia. The 20-year-old ice hockey player is a left-handed shooter and plays defense on the team. He played for Amur Khabarovsk-2 from 205 to 2006, and his contract was renewed for 2006 to 2007. For the 2008-2009 seasons, he played for Yermak Angarsk before going back to Amur Khabarovsk for the 2009-2010 seasons.

For several seasons he was known to have the worst stats on the Amur team at +/- (- 13) compared to other D men like Orlov, Kapotov, and Maxim Chudinov. He scored no goals in the regular season, scored two assists, and established an average of 10:14 average time on ice. Despite the dismal record, Gorokhov is still known as one solid defenseman along with Maxim Kondratiev. The Russian player has also never played in the playoffs.
