Dmitri Chernykh
Dmitri Chernykh is a professional ice hockey player. Born on February 27, 2985 in Voskresensk, Russia, he currently plays for Tolyatti Lada. He is the son of former hockey player Aleksandr Chernykh and was raised in Khimik Vosskresensk hockey system, which his father also played under. Chernykh also played for the Russian U18 national team. He was also selected by the New York Islanders as the number 48 overall draft in the second round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft in 2003.
Chernykh first played for the CSKA Moscow of the Russian league in the 2003-2004 seasons. He was then acquired by Chelyabinsk Mechel of the Russia-1 in the 2004-2005 season before he was acquired by the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL. The Russian player was then acquired by Tolyatti Lada to play for the 2009-2010 season.
Chernykh has played in a total of 131 games in the regular season, with the highest number of games played in the 2009-2010 season with Tolyatti Lada. He has scored a total of 9 points in the regular season as well as a total of 18 assist points. He has not played in any playoff games.
