Daniyar Akhmetov

Kazakh professional ice hockey player Daniyar Akhmetov was born on March 30, 1988 in Karaganda, Kazakhstan. He curgently plays for Barys Astana of the Kontinental Hockey League. He has played for the national team, from2005 to 2007, playing for five games in every season although he has yet to score a goal with the national team.

He played for the Kazakhamis-2-Karaganda of the Pervaya Liga and the Kazakhstan Vyschaya Liga from 200 to 2006. He then played for the Kazakhamis-2-Satpaev of the Pervaya Liga for the 2006-2007 seasons. He played with the Kazakhmys Satpaev of the Vysshaya Liga and the Kazakhmys Satpaev of the Kazakhstan Vyschaya Liga in the same season.

For the 2007-2008 seasons, Akhmetov was playing with the Barys-2 Astana of the Pervaya Liga and the Vysshaya Liga before moving to play with Sary Arka Karaganda of the Vysshaya Liga for the 2008-2009 seasons. He moved on to play with Barys Astana of the KHL for the 2009-2010 seasons and the Barys-2-Astana of the Kazakhstan Vyschaya Liga from 2009 to 2011.
