Corey Mapes is a professional ice hockey player who is currently loaned to play with Adler Mannheim of the German Ice Hockey League or Deutsche Eishockey Liga. Mapes was born on June 22, 1992, and is best known for his abilities as a defender in ice hockey.
Mapes started playing the sport while he was still six years old. He went through the motions of going through junior leagues and was trained successfully by the Heilbronner EC up until he was able to play in the major leagues.
He started his career at Heilbronner EC, but then transferred to SC Bietingheim-Bissigen in 2004.
