Greg Classen is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was born on August 24, 1977 in Aylsham, Saskatchewan, Canada. Classen is best known for being a center player of the Cologne Sharks, a team in the DEL or the Deutsche Eishockey Liga, also known as the German Ice Hockey League.

Classen started his professional career as an ice hockey player when he joined the varsity team of Merrimack College. While Classen spent two years of his career in school, he left the team and pursued his career as a player of the Milwaukee Admirals where he spent five years of his career.

Classen has also played with other teams such as Hamburg Freezers, Manitoba Moose, and many more.
