Torsten Ankert

Torsten Ankert is a professional ice hockey player who was born on June 22, 1988 in Essen, Germany. Ankert is known for being a defender of Cologne Sharks, a club that is a part of the DEL or the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (German Ice Hockey League.)

Ankert started his career right from the junior league of cologne sharks, where he spent three years of his playing career being cultivated by the team. Ankert proved his worth and skill over the years, and was eventually signed by the first team, Cologne Sharks.

Ankert is not exactly new compared to other players, as he has stayed with Cologne Sharks right form junior league to the major leagues.
