Jason King is a professional ice hockey player who is of Canadian descent. King was born on September 14, 1981 in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada, and is currently known for being a player of Adler Mannheim since 2009. Adler Mannheim is a club that is a part of DEL (Deustche Eishockey Liga) or the German Ice Hockey League.

At the tender age of 18, King was signed by the Halifax Mooseheads, where he stayed for three years. After his time with the Mooseheads, Manitoba Moose signed King up into their club, but King was content to play with the team for just a year.

In 2001, King became a prospect to join the NHL during the NHL Entry Draft that year, where he was selected by the Vancouver Canucks. However, it was only in 2003 that King finally played for the Canucks for a year.
