Marian Bazany

Marian Bazany is a Sloval-German who plays professional ice hockey player who is currently playing with the DEG Metro Stars, which is a team in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (or Germany Ice Hockey League). Bazany was born on May 9, 1975 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, and has been playing the sport since he first learned the mechanics in his home country. However, since he started playing in Germany, he is also a German citizen.

During his earlier years, Bazany was playing with Slovak Extraliga, particularly in the second division. However, after playing for the national team in Czechoslovakia, Bazany was able to be catapulted into the DEL, and was soon playing there.
