Mirko Ludemann is a professional ice hockey player who comes from Germany. Born on December 15, 1973 in White Water, DDR, Ludemann started playing ice hockey at a club in his hometown called ES White Water. While with the club, he stood among the defense players even during his youth.

However, in 1991, Ludemann became a shooter and was soon playing in the Alberta Junior Hockey League team called Fort McMurray. It was during the same year that Ludemann made his debut joining the national teams that were included in the German Ice Hockey Federation. He even competed as a part of the U20 World Cup for the junior national team.

After his stint with the ES White Water during his junior stage, Ludemann jumped right into Cologne Sharks in 1993, which is a part of the DEL. Since that time, he has not left the club even until 2011.
