Jens Baxmann

Jens Baxmann is a professional ice hockey player who was born on March 24, 1985 in Wernigerode, GDR. Baxmann is best known for currently playing for the Eisbaren Berlin since 2001. The team is a part of the German Ice Hockey league.

Baxmann started his professional career playing with the WSV Schierke. There he was a student mainly before he moved westward and played for the WSV Braulage. This was the time when he was a junior and was not yet included in the big leagues.

It was in 2000 that Baxmann was signed with Harzer Wolfe, but stayed with the team for just a year. Afterwards, it was Eisbaren Berlin all the way.

In 2006, Baxmann was not able to play in a lot of games because of some difficulties, and eventually in 2007, he underwent a shoulder operation to treat some of his injuries. After the operation, recovery was successful and was able to quickly get back on his feet and play well once more.
