Jeffrey Szwez
Jeffrey “Jeff” Szwez is a professional ice hockey player who was born on June 16, 1981 in Etobicoke, Ontario. Szwez is best known for being a player of the Augsburger Panthern (Hannover Scorpions) in the DEL (German Ice Hockey League).
Szwez is German-Canadian, and he started playing hockey as a member of the Streetsville Derbys. There, he was a part of the Ontario Junior Hockey League from 2000 to 2001. He then transferred to join the Kitchener Rangers, which is a part of the Ontario Hockey League. After a year Szwez then transferred to Augusta Lynx and then to the Binghamton Senators.
Before landing in Augsburger Panther, Szwez had joined a number of other teams over a relatively short span of time, such as the Dayton Bombers, Florence / Pee Dee Pride, Syracuse Crunch, Philadelphia Phantoms, and the Belfast Giants.
Since Szwez boasts of having a successful personal record, Szwez was signed by the Augsburger Panther for the 2010-2011 season.
