Maksim Pestushko

Maksim Pestushko is a Russian right winger on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Pestushko grew up playing for Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk’s youth club, and made his Super League debut with the club’s senior team in 2003. He had 4 points in 27 games during his rookie season, and followed that with a 21 point season in 2004-05. In 2007-08, he set career highs with 15 assists, 26 points and 75 penalty minutes. He played two seasons with Dynamo Moscow, scoring 26 points in both of them, before returning to his original club in 2010. He was named an assistant captain for the 2010-11 season, and is well on pace to set new career highs in goals, assists and points.
