Maksim Yakutsenya is a Russian forward on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Yakutsenya began his career in the Russian Second League with Metallurg Serov in 1998. He played three years in the minors before making his Super League debut with Mechel Chelyabinsk in 2001. He played two seasons with the club before joining Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2003. He was traded to CSKA Moscow midway through the season, and had 22 points in 2005-06, which was a career high for him at that point. He began 2006 with Metallurg Novokuznetsk, but was traded to Avangard Omsk halfway through the season. He set a new career high with 24 points in 2007-08 while playing for Omsk. In 2009, he was traded to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, where he recorded the best season of his career to date, scoring 15 goals and 35 points in 2009-10.
