Andrei Sergeev

Andrei Sergeev is a Russian defenseman on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Sergeev is one of the youngest defensemen on the team, and has played very few games with the team’s senior club. He began his career in the Third League with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk-2 in 2007-08, scoring 4 goals and 17 points, as well as 54 penalty minutes. He was called up for his first KHL game in 2009-10, but spent most of the season in the MHL with Reaktor Nizhnekamsk. He began the 2010-11 season in the MHL as well, but was called up to the KHL midway through the season.
