Maxim Berezin

Maxim Berezin is a Russian defenseman on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Berezin played his first season in the Russian Third League with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk-2, scoring 8 goals, 13 points and 32 penalty minutes. He made his KHL debut with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in 2009, although he spent most of the 2009-10 season in the MHL, where he scored 6 goals and 36 points, along with 94 penalty minutes for Reaktor Nizhnekamsk. He began the 2010-11 season in the MHL, but was called up to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk early in the year.
