Vaclav Nedorost
Vaclav Nedorost is a Czech forward on Metallurg Novokuznetsk.
Nedorost was drafted 14th overall by the Colorado Avalanche after scoring 14 points in his first full season with HC Ceske Budejovice in the Czech ExtraLiga. He played another year with the club before coming to North America in 2001. He played 67 games with the Avalanche over two seasons, totalling 6 goals and 13 points with the club before being traded to Florida in 2003. In 2004, he returned to the Czech Republic during the NHL lockout in 2004, and remained there until 2010, when he joined Metallurg Novokuznetsk. His best season was in 2008-09, when he scored 15 goals and 35 points with HC Liberec.
Nedorost won gold medals with the Czech Republic at the 2000 and 2001 World Juniors.
