Nick Angell
Nick Angell is an American defenseman on Metallurg Novokuznetsk.
Angell remained undrafted after completing four seasons of college hockey at the University of Minnesota, and decided to make a career in Europe. He spent seasons playing in the Allsvenskan and Norway before landing an Elitserien contract with Brynas in 2006. He had 14 goals and 27 points in his first season in the Elitserien, but saw his numbers slip a bit the next year, and was traded to HV71 in the 2008 offseason. After a year with HV71 followed by a season in Germany, he made his KHL debut with Metallurg Novokunzetsk in 2010.
