Pavel Kanarski

Pavel Kanarski is a Russian defenseman on Metallurg Novokuznetsk.

Kanarski broke into professional hockey with his hometown team of Krylia Sovetov in 1999. He played the next seasons with Krylia Sovetov and other Second League teams, setting a career high with 20 points in 2004-05, and recording 71 penalty minutes in 2005-06. He was traded to SKA St. Petersburg midway through 2006-07, but played less than a full season with the club, as he was traded to Severstal Cherepovets in 2008. He played two more years with Cherepovets before returning to Krylia Sovetov in the VHL in 2010, where he was an assistant captain before signing with Metallurg Novokuznetsk in late 2010.
