Alexei Litvinenko is a Kazakh defenseman on Barys Astana.
Litvinenko was drafted by Phoenix in 1999, and went on to make his Super League debut with Dynamo Moscow in 1999. He played four seasons with Metallurg Magnitogorsk, and was traded to SKA St. Petersburg midway through the 2004-05 season. He bounced around the league for the next few seasons, playing with Spartak Moscow, Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Vityaz Chekhov. He had a career year in 2009-10, scoring 10 points and 181 penalty minutes. He signed with Barys Astana in 2010.
