Evgeny Fadeev

Evgeny Fadeev is a Kazakh defenseman on Barys Astana.

Fadeev, like many of his fellow countrymen, played most of his junior career in Kazakhstan, where he played with Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, Gornyak Rudny and Kazakhmis Karaganda, as well as a season with Kazakhmis Satpaev. He signed with Barys Astana in 2007, and had 8 goals and 19 points in his first year with the club, helping the team earn a promotion to the KHL when it was created in 2008. He spent 2009-10 with Automobilist Ekaterinburg, but returned to Barys Astana in 2010.
