Ivan Nepryaev
Ivan Nepryaev is a Russian center on HK Atlant.
Nepryaev was drafted by the Washington Capitals in 2000, after scoring 23 points in his first full season of play in the Russian Third League. He never came to North America, but played the next 8 seasons with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, bouncing between the senior club and minor leagues until 2004-05, when he solidified his place on the team with a 20 point, 73 penalty minute season. He won back to back league titles with the club in 2002 and 2003, and set a career high with 84 penalty minutes in his final year with the club. The next season, he was acquired by Dynamo Moscow, where he scored 14 goals and 27 points in his first year with the team. He joined HK Atlant in 2010.
Nepryaev won a gold medal at the 2002 World Juniors, as well as a bronze medal at the 2007 World Championships.
