Andrei Zyuzin
Andrei Zyuzin is a Russian defenseman on HK Atlant.
Zyuzin was drafted 2nd overall by the San Jose Sharks in 1996, after playing his second season with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Russian Super League. He played another year with the team before joining San Jose in 1997. He played just 81 games over two years with the Sharks before being traded to Tampa Bay, where he posted a career high 16 assists in 2000-01. He was traded to New Jersey early in the next year, but played only 39 games in Jersey before being dealt to Minnesota. He played seasons with both Calgary and Chicago before returning to Russia with SKA St. Petersburg in 2008. He helped St. Petersburg reach the playoffs in back to back seasons before being dealt to HK Atlant early in the 2010-11 season.
Zyuzin won bronze medals at the 1996 and 1997 World Juniors with Russia, as well as a gold medal at the U18 tournament in 1996.
